Let’s be honest. You probably came close to buying some a couple months back when we had that mini-heatwave and, you know, got really cocky about the great summer we were going to have. But then the sun stopped, the rain started and it didn’t really seem like a good time to splash out on shoes that left your toes at the mercy of the elements. But enough is enough. It’s July now, which in terms of the fashion retail calendar means that if you don’t swoop soon, there will be nothing remotely summery left in the shops. Madness, I know. So it’s time to just go for it.
I’ve been looking at sandals for months and here’s my edit of the best out there. Some are pricier and good investment buys that should see you through a couple of summers at the least, while others are cheap and cheerful. ie. perfect for if you really only bank on wearing them on holiday. And don’t worry, if the weather takes a turn for the worse this week or next, I’ll probably be back with an edit of ‘shoes to wear in summer when it’s cold and raining’….. Happy shopping!
