School is out at the end of the week so if you’re looking for an easy-going, fun activity to do with your spawns pre-christmas look no further! Fruits déguisés− or fancy dressed fruits if you need a literal translation − is a very enjoyable way to while away a couple of hours (okay, I am perhaps being generous, think more like 30-45 minutes…).
One of my favourite Christmas activities is to bake cookies to hang on our tree. This year I had much bigger ambitions than my usual heart/star/gingerbread man combo, or whatever shape takes my fancy from my cookie-cutter stash, and set out to make big cookie pendants that could be hung not just on the tree, but just about everywhere in our house.
Are your children bored now that the summer holidays are coming to an end? In this household, it’s definitively getting harder to keep them occupied! So here is a quick “recipe” that will keep most bored kids happy for quite a while: DIY lollipops!
A little bit of holidays in a ball of coconut, or as we call them in french, Coconut Rocks! You can still find these in local bakeries across France, usually in a pyramid shape. They are dead easy to make and only have 3 ingredients!
