Shopping for statement pieces is fun, sure. But what really floats my boat is when I buy things I know I will wear on almost a daily basis. My uniform, if you will. Even more so since having my second baby, fashion has become something that is all about making it easy to get dressed in the morning.
Let’s be honest. You probably came close to buying some a couple months back when we had that mini-heatwave and, you know, got really cocky about the great summer we were going to have. But then the sun stopped, the rain started and it didn’t really seem like a good time to splash out on shoes that left your toes at the mercy of the elements.
If you’ve worn your classic denim dungarees to death and are looking for a change (but not too much of a change) then you’re in the right place. Actually, even if you’ve never done the dunga thing, then you’re still in the right place.
……and other fancy things.
Why is it so bloody hard to find something you want to buy when you’re shopping for a specific occasion? Give me cash in my pocket and no plans on the horizon and I’ll accidentally come across at least 5 fancy dresses that I would love to wear.
This feature could also be called ‘What to wear when you’re so sick of your winter coat you could actually scream.” It might not *technically* be any warmer than it was last week, but Sunday was the first official day of Spring, so in order to justify some new season shopping, I’m rolling with it.
