Painting with kids is so much fun isn’t it?
No. No it’s not. It’s not fun unless they are painting outside, in the garden, naked, on a day hot enough to hose everything down at the end, including the children. But this hack might help to keep some of the paint in one spot if you’re doing it inside.
Use an egg carton as a paint pallette. This will help stop all the paint from getting smooshed into greyish-blackish-brown for at least 10 minutes, and poke holes in the little pointy bits to hold your brushes.
This is a great teacher hack… they have loads of good ones. Any teachers want to share your kid wrangling hacks with me?
