Pimp your game of pass-the-parcel by adding a watermelon layer! Or try it on a gift for a fruit lover. You could even add more fruity layers – yellow with black stripes followed by white, for a banana or pink paper followed by white with black spots, for a dragon fruit! … surely there’s room for a pineapple here somewhere too.
- Green paper – I got mine from Tiger because they have some that’s pink on the other side.
- Pink tissue paper
- Green paint
- A black pen
Paint green stripes on your green paper to mark out watermelon stripes. Depending on the colour of the paper, figure out if you need darker or lighter green paint to make it look like a watermelon. Now draw black pips on your pink paper. Then wrap the parcel in pink first then green.
Congratulations! You have made a watermelon.
