A while ago I suggested that you hide some cash in a tennis ball while at the beach, which looks pretty cool, but it only works if there are no dogs around or you might end up wrestling a stranger’s pooch in a beach car park. Which will raise a few eyebrows.

Here’s a much more sensible version, hide some cash in an empty lip balm container. Keep it in your gym bag or in a drawer at work. No one is going to nick your old chapstick so your secret stash is safe.
