20 Jul HACKY MONDAYS – STICK FOIL TO YOUR SOAP

This life hack is from a book of thrifty housewife tips from the olden days but it’s still ideal if you’ve been on an Aesop binge and have some fancy soap that you don’t want to waste.

Stick a piece of foil to the underside of the bar of soap (it will stick nicely if it is slightly damp). Now the bottom won’t dissolve in the inevitable soap swamp that forms in the bottom of the dish and you’ll save half of your soap.
