22 Oct KEEP YOUR KIDS WARM IN STYLE
In the wake of hurricane Gonzalo there’s just no denying it anymore. Autumn is here, which means one thing – it’s time to get the kids some new outerwear! So in the name of research (and because who really has time to dedicate to actual real-life shopping anymore?) I went on a massive internet bender to find my 6-year old the perfect coat and came back…nearly empty handed! There’s just too much choice! So much choice that I have actually made categories. For kids coats. Yes I did. And here they are:
£££ bobo choses faux fur coat £125 £ Zara kids animal print coat £29.99
£££ Pyrenex matt aviator jacket £125.55 ££ Gap warmest bomber puffer jacket £44.95
£££ Finger in the nose Snowsky down jacket £236.25 (ouch!!) ££ Mango kids feather down coat £47.99
£££ Mini Rodini expedition Siberia jacket £140 £ Zara kids parka with fur hood £39.99
££ Cos A-line wool coat £55 ££ Zara kids three quarter length coat with toggles £49.99
£££ Barbour pink Rosie Hello Kitty quilted jacket £80 £ Marks & Spencer quilted floral thermal car coat £24
I now feel that not only does my daughter need a faux fur coat for those special occasions, she also needs a preppy coat for school and a bomber jacket for the park! But what if a bitterly cold winter awaits? Then surely I also need to get her a parka….hmmm. I’m happy to leave the quilted jacket alone… that’s what I call restraint. Unless she gets invited on a horse riding trek or to Balmoral that is, then I may need to seriously rethink.
