19 Apr MAKE A SPACE HELMET FOR YOUR TEDDY – 5 MINUTES TO BLAST OFF
So by this stage of the school holidays things are getting pretty delirious. There’s a good chance you’ve run out of ways to entertain the little monsters. How about a teddy bear’s picnic… on the moon?
This only take five minutes. Create a moonscape by covering the lounge room in white duvets and pillows, make a space helmet for teddy, whack on some David Bowie then blast off to the moon picnic.
- A tissue box
- Foil
- A pipe-cleaner
- Tape
- Scissors
Wrap the tissue box in the foil by poking all the loose bits of foil into the tissue hole.
Make a small hole in the top with scissors and poke the pipe-cleaner through. Bend it in a right angle inside the box and tape it to the inside of the box.
Wrap the pipe-cleaner around your finger to form a coil.
Cut a hole in the bottom big enough for your teddy’s head to fit through.
